K. N. Grout is a young author with a passion for creating fast-paced adventures filled with mystery, action, and a touch of humour.

Inspired at just nine years old after meeting How to Train Your Dragon author Cressida Cowell, she set out to write the kind of stories she wished she could find on the shelves—books with the excitement and film-like energy of her favourite stories, from Harry Potter to Peter Pan.

Her love for storytelling began with short stories written every summer, and during lockdown she rediscovered that spark, turning it into a career.

Now the author of the Nicole Raven series and a published poet in the Worcestershire Young Poet Laureate Competition 2023 anthology, she continues to write with her two ginger cats by her side, always dreaming up the next big adventure for readers young and old.
