I loved this fast paced action book. There were so many twists and turns in this mystery adventure. I liked Nicola Raven, a girl before her time, fighting the injustices of a woman's lot. It is an amazing Ist book. It made me wish I could have seen the Crystal Palace and joined in the quest. I am really looking forward to the next book in the trilogy.
So I’m not normally one to write reviews, but I feel like this book deserves it! If I had to describe it in one word? Masterpiece! Every word, page and chapter leaves you breathless and needing to know more. It’s written with a genuine creativity and vivid imagination that is quite rare these days. Everything about this book is beautiful! I know its target audience is for kids, but I STRONGLY recommend it for everyone! And if you’re reading this review and decide to buy and read the book, I promise you will love it and won’t be disappointed - it’s literally a work of art!
